BC’s South Coast species at risk annual info sharing and networking event
A unique opportunity to network and connect with experts involved in species at risk recovery. This afternoon event will have presentations regarding the SCCP’s latest resources and initiatives, followed by two engaging panels to share and discuss specific updates and projects. One panel will focus on government-related updates, and the other will focus on stewardship initiatives.
There will a special focus on the Sunshine Coast and Sea-to-Sky Corridor. Speakers include representatives from groups including Stewardship Pemberton, Squamish River Watershed Society, Tseil-Waututh Nation and Coastal Partners in Conservation. See draft attached agenda below.
Date: Wednesday, October 10
Start time: Networking lunch from Noon to 1pm. Presentations start at 1pm. Event wraps up at 4:30pm.
Location: Corrigan Nature House at Maplewood Flats, North Vancouver
Cost: $15, includes lunch. Cash only please, to be collected at the door. Registration is required.
