Brad Langman (Environment and Climate Change Canada) and Kendra Morgan (Provincial Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations & Rural Development) presenting updates regarding species at risk recovery planning.
Stacey Goulding, Lands and Environment Project Manager (Laquamel First Nation) presenting on species at risk intiatives the Laquamel First Nation are involved in, such planning and best practices, and on-the-ground collaborative restoration.
Neil Fletcher, Wetlands Education Program Manager (BC Wildlife Federation) presenting on their project to control Yellow Flag Iris at Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park.
Erika Nassichuk (District of North Vancouver) will present about the single family development process in North Vancouver and the use of various Development Permit Areas to protect natural areas, including the use of eDNA to collect species at risk information.
