Join the South Coast Conservation Program and the Fraser Valley Conservancy for a family-friendly event to celebrate the wildlife and species at risk of the Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park.

There will be fun displays and games.

  • Fraser Valley Watersheds Coalition
Come celebrate the fascinating and rare critters that call the Cheam Lake Wetlands home.

Learn to enhance your backyard for wildlife. Meet some live critters as our special guests, including an owl!
Scheduled activities:
  • Help to plant native plants with the Fraser Valley Watersheds Coalition - no experience necessary - 10am to 12pm
  • Birding expert Gord Gadsden will lead a bird walk at 11am
  • Biologist Pamela Zevit will lead a nature walk to talk about local species at risk at 1pm

Event will be at the main parking lot.
